Psychiatry - Old Age (Consultant)
About
We are currently seeking an experienced Old Age Psychiatrist (Consultant) to join our team in Wales. Starting 03/04/2023 until 08/10/2023, with the possibility of extension. The position is from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30, with a total of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose patients with mental health conditions and provide effective treatment plans
Provide leadership and supervision to the clinical team, including junior doctors and healthcare professionals
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input to care planning and decision making
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:
GMC registration with a License to Practice
Completion of specialist training in Old Age Psychiatry
Right to work in the UK
