FCEM Emergency Medicine Consultant (Locum) for 3 months initially in the South of England
About
We are seeking an experienced FCEM Emergency Medicine Consultant who is on the Specialist Register to join our team on a locum basis for an initial period of 3 months. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and experience in Emergency Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Undertake the initial assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting with a range of acute medical conditions
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care to patients
- Participate in the teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines
Requirements:
- Fully registered with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register in Emergency Medicine
- Relevant FCEM qualification or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Emergency Medicine
- Excellent clinical skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK
