A & E - General A & E (Specialist Registrar)
About
We are currently seeking an experienced A&E Registrar to join a leading Emergency Medicine department in Somerset, South West England. As an A&E Registrar, you will play a key role in providing exceptional care to patients with a range of medical emergencies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Undertake clinical assessments, investigations and procedures as required.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the provision of high-quality care.
- Provide support and guidance to junior members of staff.
- Participate in the development of clinical guidelines, protocols and audit.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Completion of higher training in Emergency Medicine (e.g. FRCEM, MCEM).
- Demonstrable experience working in a busy Emergency Department.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and registration with the GMC.
